What is Business Administration?

The Business Administration program prepares students with specific business management and administrative knowledge and skills to successfully work in today's global business world. This program offers three concentrated areas of study for students to choose from, which include: Accounting, Human Resource Management, and Management. A student has the opportunity to choose one of these options and specialize in their designated area of study.

What are my career choices?

Graduates can enter the workforce as bookkeepers, accounting technicians, cost/payroll managers and similar positions using computer-based systems. With advanced study beyond the associates degree, students can become certified public accountants or financial planners.

Human Resource Management prepares students for positions in the human resource field, such as human resources/employment assistant, technician, and benefits specialist.

Management prepares the student with broad-based management knowledge and skills; which lead to a variety of positions in organizations, such as administrative specialist, office manager, records and information specialist, and operation support assistant.
